3D Foggy Spectacles

 

When I saw this weeks Freshly Made Sketches I knew I wanted to do some partial die cutting for the challenge.  Since I splurged on some new stuff from Paper Smooches a little while ago I thought I should use it.  I did the partial die cutting with the glasses die, colored the frames black then clear embossed them.  The sentiment and lips (PS - incognito) and the black cardstock are clear embossed as well to make all the colored elements shine!  

Of course it's perfect for Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge!  and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

 

The glasses are backed with a piece of 3D vinyl I've had for about 20 years.  They have a really cool effect when the card is tilted.  You can see it on Instagram @stampedgoods or the video below.

Girlie For the Graduate.

Yippee! I finally  have some time to make some cards!  So many ideas popped into my head when I saw this weeks CAS(E) this Sketch!  

I silver embossed the a solid stripe from PTI's new Plaid Builders set then stamped out one of the circles from Sketched Shapes.  The silver embossed sentiment is from PTI's  keep is simple Graduate set.  The silver embossed dots are from W&W's Big Bang Confetti.  I think it makes a super easy CAS girlie graduation card!
