Stood in the Storm

ETA - Very thrilled to have been chosen the winner for this weeks CASology Challenge!

ETA - Wow, also happy to get a Spotlight Artists Award with City Crafter Challenge!

Spotlight Artist Badge

I have another card for CASology and City Crafter this week using the Simon Says Stamp Sail Away set again.

I die cut the Sea Star (or Starfish if you prefer) three times from cardstock inked up some with SSS new Apricot ink color and stacked them up.  I think it's the perfect color match for Sea Stars commonly seen on the East and West coast of Canada.  I dotted some stickles along it's arms and mounted it over a circle of blended Sea Glass ink.  I thought the sentiment fit too, if you've ever watched a loose Sea Star being moved around in the waves you will see it moving it's arms (sails) to try become more stable and secure by finding something to latch on to.

Thanks so Much for Looking!
Karen
